The TP-Link Archer AX10 (Ax1500) is one of the most popular Wi-Fi routers from the TP-Link. This is a renowned router for its effective wireless performance, powerful processing, network connectivity, and easy installation.
The TP-Link AX10 has an attractive, slim, and sleek design. It is a dual-band router with Wi-Fi 6 technology and supports Ax1500 support that provides a maximum throughput of 1550 Mbps.
The best thing about the Archer AX10 is MU-MIMO technology support along with OFDMA. It also works with Alexa smoothly. This is an incredible router at a good price. Considering the high-speed performance of the router, the price TP-Link AX10 is an advantage.
The device is powered by the latest, cutting-edge technology. Likewise, it stands out in terms of performance among other AX-standard routers, which are way expensive than Archer Ax10. So, this makes the router an ideal choice for people who want an affordable product with high-speed wireless performance and range coverage.
Many people ask us “Why my smartphone Wi-Fi speed hardly reaches 600 Mbps?” Well, the short and accurate answer to these questions is that wireless AC can reach a maximum of 500 Mbps for smartphone devices.
On the other hand, the TP-Link AX10 (Ax1500) comes with Wi-Fi 6 technology that can attain a maximum speed of 800 Mbps on smartphone devices.
Wireless AC does not work well, especially when there are multiple devices connected to the Network. On average, this is not an optimal thing because there are over 10-15 devices in every household in the U.S, which are connected to the wireless network.
Furthermore, the OFDMA technology on routers with Wi-Fi 6 support provide high-speed network even multiple devices are connected to the network. So, the TP-Link AX10 (Ax1500) is a sophisticated device with Wi-Fi 6 support to optimally increase your Wi-Fi speed.

Networking
We tested the networking capabilities of the TP-Link AX10 (Ax1500) Wi-Fi router. First, we tested the router on the 2.4 GHz radio frequency band. At a close range of 5 feet, we achieved a maximum speed of 297 Mbps, which is slightly lower than the theoretical speed of 300 Mbps.
Likewise, we tested the device on 2.4 GHz at 15 feet distance. This time, the speed we calculated was 211 Mbps. At 30 feet, the speed measured was 184 Mbps, which is good considering the 2.4 GHz at 30 feet. So far, the speed of the device was good.
Further, we increased the distance to 75 feet to see whether or not the device performed well. This time, we measured an average speed of 116 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band. The upload and download speed at 75 feet was just above satisfactory.
Next, we tested the router on the 5 GHz radio frequency band and measured speed of 1124 Mbps instead of 1200 Mbps theoretical speed. We must say this not bad at all for a Wi-Fi router with the Ax1500 standard.
In addition, we also tested the device at 15 feet and 30 feet. The speed we measured was 872 Mbps and 651 Mbps. We further increased the distance to 75 feet. The speed measured was 439 Mbps. So, as compared to the 2.4 GHz, the speed of the router at different distances was much better at the 5 GHz radio frequency band.
Design
The design of the TP-Link AX10 (Ax1500) is stylish and attractive. The device looks modern and the dimensions are 10.2 x 5 x 1.3 inches. The total weight of the TP-Link AX10 is 1.65 pounds, which makes it a lightweight product.
There are 4 antennas located in the rear panel of the device. On the backside of the Archer AX10, you will find 1 Gigabit Ethernet WAN port, 4 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports. Unfortunately, the device does not come with a USB port, which we think is a huge disadvantage of the AX10 router.
In addition, the device is powered by a power adapter of 12V. On the front of the TP-Link Archer AX10, you will see 5 LED indicators, which show the status of the power, the internet, the LAN, WPS, and WAN. The device has a beautiful glossy black finish with modern design.
Hardware
The TP-Link Archer AX10 is a powerful Wi-Fi router and has a Broadcom BCM6750 Triple-Core CPU clocked at 1.5 GHz. This, we think, is pretty powerful for a router device with Ax1500 standard. This is why on a 5 GHz frequency band, the router achieves a speed of 1200 Mbps and can go up to 1500 Mbps.
The router has 256 MB of RAM and there are 4 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports along with one Gigabit Ethernet WAN port. The device comes with MU-MIMO technology coupled with Beamforming, Range-Boost, and OFDMA.
Installation
When it comes to the installation of the TP-Link AX10 Wi-Fi router, first, you need to power on the device and connect it to the PC. You can either use the Wi-Fi connection or an Ethernet cable to any of the 4 LAN ports. You can find the default Wi-Fi username and password on the label of the router.
Next, you need to navigate to the configuration page, which is done either through the tplinkwifi.net or 192.168.0.1. The next step is to set a new admin password. Now, select the time zone and select the internet connection type. After this, you need to insert the user and password.
The next step is all about configuring the Wi-Fi connection and verifying the overall process of the setup. Review the configuration setting and click save. Now the router will restart to run according to the new configuration settings.
